Lab Log

The chronological record.

Research reads much cleaner once everyone knows the ending. This is the version from before we knew.

The log records questions, decisions, architecture changes, benchmark runs, failed implementations, unexpected observations, new hypotheses, discarded hypotheses, and changes of mind. Entries are dated. Material edits are versioned. The purpose is provenance, not performance.

Formal work deserves formal standards.

Where Primitive publishes research meant to survive more scrutiny than a homepage. Each paper carries, where relevant: authors, version, date, status, abstract, methodology, references, data and code availability, conflicts, limitations, and revision history. Research is versioned. Old versions stay reachable.
